Access Via Exposure (AVE) is a youth-based education through arts based organization.
Access Via Exposure (AVE) is a youth-focused arts education organization led by San Francisco native artist and educator, Jarrel Philips. AVE’s purpose is to build bridges and foster healthy relationships via experiential learning opportunities that cultivate positive youth development. Through an array of engaging activities that involve movement, creativity, play & performance, Capoeira, powerful storytelling and curated experiences, youth participants will gain a deeper connection to self and enriched interpersonal connection.AVE is preparing the next generation to be in the driver’s seat by experiencing a nurturing environment that will build them up and connect them.
AVE is also a space for youth, families and teachers to express themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually through storytelling and movement.
AVE is all about family (our first community) and the youth (the heart of every family). At AVE we believe in creating opportunities for both immersion and proximity for youth of all backgrounds– especially Black & Brown youth, children with special needs and LGBTQ youth.
